Comments: Equine Scholars has provided a good outlet for my interest in the Equine world in college. I have met many new, engaging people through the program who are interested in many different avenues within the equine world. Comments: I joined the Equine Scholars Program because of the many opportunities it provides to explore different aspects of the equine industry. After graduation, I'm not entirely sure what I want to do, but I know that I want to incorporate horses into some aspect of my life. From the program I have gained an awareness of the vastness of the horse industry, especially in Kentucky; and a deeper appreciation of it as well.

Comments: I hope to get many things out of the equine scholars program. Not only has the program helped me to make amazing friends, it has also helped me in make an easy transition into college. At first I was very scared to enter a new life with new people, but this program helped me to build a family within Georgetown College. All the people are wonderful and, to top it all off, they have similar interests. I hope to participate in many internships and gather job ideas for the future.

It is a perfect way to explore the possibilities available to me within the scope of the equine industry, and find out where my strengths and interests lie.

Comments: Georgetown’s Equine Program is powerful in that it gives me the ability to combine its broad reach in the Equine Industry with my studies in Japanese and International Business. The school and the program is at the center of the horse universe. My family and I looked everywhere and Georgetown was the only school that could give me everything that I needed. The amazing part is that I only knew about Georgetown from its brochures and web sites before I came here. This is a great place to live and go to school! My parents know people care about me and they think I made a good decision.
